This mindful, energetic practice—a blend of asana, contemplation, and revelation—will make for an auspicious start to your New Year. We reflect upon yogic principles as fluid Sun Salutes inspire; Warrior and balance postures stabilize; backbends invigorate; and deep relaxation ties it all together. Come harmonize body, mind, and spirit. Jivanmukti—freedom here and now!

Sadhana—Practice with Purpose
Set the tone on the first day of the New Year to be your best, on and off the mat. We grow in life when we understand fundamental principles, practice them with purpose, and embody new insights. With this framework in mind, we engage in invigorating Sun Salutes, powerful arm balances, strong Warrior poses, deep hip work, and playful inversions. We close with a contemplative exercise of “viewing from the end” to help us stride into the New Year with purpose.
Prior yoga experience recommended. Modifications will be provided for all levels.
