Three Team Members, More Possibility

Linda, Karleen, and Susan come together to create an especially rich and dynamic retreat experience at Seek the Sun Otra Vez! 2027. With three distinct voices, areas of expertise, and approaches to movement, healing modalities and contemplative practice, you’ll have more opportunities to discover what resonates with you.

Together, they bring decades of experience, fresh perspectives, engaging stories, and plenty of joy and humor to the retreat. And with three facilitators available, there’s also more space for personalized attention—whether you’re looking for individual guidance, a deeper exploration of a practice, or simply a little extra support along the way.

Come for the practices, the possibilities, and the community. Leave feeling more connected, refreshed, grounded, and fully yourself.

Linda Meacci (she/her), E-RYT 500, YACEP

While studying theatre and dance in New York City, Linda discovered her passion for yoga—a practice that has shaped her life ever since. Bringing spontaneity, wonder, and a deep sense of joy to her teaching, Linda creates a warm, connected space where each person is invited to meet themselves exactly where they are–to listen inward, trust their own insights, and rediscover their authentic nature.

Her expertise lies in dynamically teaching through the lens of both Eastern and Western principles and practices to illuminate the innate connection between body, feeling and inner life. Linda’s clear, accessible instruction is grounded in anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. Her innovative style weaves together slow flow, therapeutically oriented yoga, mindfulness, functional and somatic movement, Feldenkrais, expressive movement, guided imagery, and contemplative experiences.

Linda’s work invites students to take their practice beyond the mat—to become more curious about the forces shaping their lives, open to new possibilities, and connected to the power, joy, and wisdom within.

Karleen Preator (she/her), PhD, Psychologist, E-RYT 200

Karleen brings her love of movement, fitness, humor, and joy to her teaching, creating classes that challenge the body while calming the mind. With clear, detailed instruction, she welcomes students of all levels and encourages each person to discover yoga as a deeply personal practice—one that meets you exactly where you are.

Karleen began practicing yoga in 1977 and completed her 200-hour teacher training in 2010. Her lifelong love of movement extends beyond yoga to ballet, bicycling, hiking, skiing, and kayaking. She is also an avid lover of theater, dance, and poetry, and delights in time with her two amazing granddaughters and her menagerie of grandcats.

Susan M. Brooks, PhD (she/her), PhD, Health Educator; MS in Exercise Physiology

Susan is a Kaiut Yoga instructor, Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner and teacher, author, and Functional Nutrition and Lifestyle Practitioner with more than 40 years of experience in health and wellness education.

Known for her warm, practical approach, Susan helps students cultivate greater ease, mobility, and resilience through the restorative practices of Kaiut Yoga and Jin Shin Jyutsu, a Japanese healing modality similar to acupressure. Her classes invite students to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and experience the profound benefits of simple, sustainable self-care.

When she’s not teaching, Susan can be found hiking Colorado trails, cooking, tending her orchard and garden, writing, or enjoying time with her dog, family, and friends. In winter, she heads to Troncones, where she delights in beach walks, birds, and whales.
